Asha joined Arup in 1992 as a structural engineer, working in five countries around the world. She is currently an Associate Director at Arup, managing the consulting healthcare and education businesses in the Midlands and North England. She works with clients in the public and private sector as advisor and project manager on service reform, transformation programmes, change management, operational planning and capital investment programmes.
With a background in design, procurement, and construction in the built environment, she managed to deliver projects from concept through to re-organisation.
Asha, who has spent more than 27 years working in the construction industry, has been recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Birmingham City University, recognising her major contribution to the profession.
