Benjamin Walker
Ben Walker is a director at LDA Design, London studio lead and a highly experienced chartered landscape architect.

Ben is passionate about making cities more sociable and welcoming places. He has led the decade-long transformation of cultural icon Battersea Power Station, turning an inaccessible 42-acre industrial wasteland into a successful new piece of city, opening up a new stretch of the Thames to the public and letting nature in. Expected to receive millions of visitors every year, Battersea Power Station now includes a six-acre riverside park, two civic squares, terraced gardens and three acres of planting.

Ben’s other projects include large-scale, mixed-use developments including South Kilburn, St Ann's and Blackwall Yard. Ben was part of the team responsible for the final landscape masterplan for the London 2012 Olympic Park and is now working with the local community to regenerate shared spaces on Carpenters Estate in Stratford.
