Bex is the Built Environment lead for the UN High-Level Climate Action Champions for COP26, focussed on driving non-state actor ambition in 2021 and beyond.
Working up to November, Bex has been focussed on delivering crucial outcomes for the Built Environment sector at COP26 in Glasgow, namely that it is recognised as a critical sector for climate action and that sector ambition is showcased through the Race to Zero and Race to Resilience.
The team brought together the #BuildingtoCOP26 coalition at the beginning of 2021, to set out what success would look like on this pivotal Cities, Regions and Built Environment Day in Glasgow and Bex has also worked closely with UK Presidency to shape the Built Environment Presidency events.
