Carole Pluckrose is a theatre director, space maker and coach. She began her career as an actor working internationally. In 2014 she joined forces with Rooff Ltd to found the Boathouse. Her ambition was to create an exciting new arts venue at the heart of Barking with an emphasis on community engagement in excellent arts experiences, championing and mentoring emerging artists and developing her own theatre practice. Carole lives and works in Barking.
