Carolyn’s focus is on helping the City retain its status as a world centre for trade and business, whilst protecting its precious historic fabric.
A Civil Engineering graduate, she then specialised in Transport Planning. Through her work in planning and infrastructure in the public sector she gained a deep understanding of working within a democratic and political environment. Carolyn sat on the Commission for Integrated Transport and is currently a Non-Executive Director for the Scottish Futures Trust and for Shoreham Port. She volunteers with the Veolia Environmental Trust which provides grants to community and environmental projects.
