Charles Armstrong

Charles is a British sociologist and entrepreneur. He founded The Trampery in 2009 as a specialist in property for innovation communities.

The Trampery has developed seven workspaces in London; is helping master-plan a new innovation district for Oslo; and has partnered with Peabody to develop Fish Island Village, an integrated co-living and co-working development in Hackney Wick. Charles studied Social & Political Science at St John’s College Cambridge. He went on to be mentored by Michael Young, one of the architects of Britain’s post-war society. Charles lives beside the River Lea in Hackney Wick, East London.
