Chris has spent almost 20 years working in place, economy, property and delivery in East London. He specialises in place-based economic and social strategy and measurement.

He has written economic strategies for Newham and Waltham Forest as well as working on the economic evidence base and future strategy for LLDC and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 
He has been working on circular economy strategies for Hackney Wick and Hackney Central having previously supported the development of the Creative Enterprise Zone action plan in the former.

In addition to Hackney Central, he has written town centre strategies for Whitechapel, Stratford, Brixton, West Norwood, Catford, Enfield, Brighton, Oxford and Margate as well as setting up the GLA High Streets Data Service.
