Christine is an internationally respected applied economist working mainly in the fields of housing economics, finance and policy.

She is Deputy Director of LSE London – which has just completed a project on accelerating housing supply in London ( the report can be found here)

She was also Director of the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning Research from 1990 to 2010. Christine in currently a member of the London Housing Commission and is specialist adviser to the House of Commons DCLG select committee on housing associations. She was awarded the OBE for services to housing in 1991.
