Claire Bennie is Director of Municipal, a consultancy which helps visionary public landowners to deliver better quality new homes at the right pace and price. Clients include seven London boroughs as well as the LLDC and TfL. Claire is a Mayor’s Design Advocate and architect; she chairs the Design Advisory Group for LB Enfield’s Meridian Water scheme and also the Design Review Panels at Brighton & Hove and Kingston councils. Claire spent 11 years at London housing association Peabody, latterly as Development Director, leading an award-winning programme of 5000 new build homes. She pioneered smarter procurement at Peabody, including the nurturing of SME architects.
