Clare Dowdy is a freelance journalist, author, curator and event moderator. She has written for the Financial Times, The Guardian, BBC.com, Blueprint, Wallpaper, Monocle, ICON and OnOffice among others.

Her exhibition, PowerHouse: the architecture of data centres, ran at Roca London Gallery from November 2021 to April 2022. She is the author of Made in London: from workshops to factories, which was published by Merrell in October 2022. And she edits Connections, a quarterly magazine about the electrical industry.
