South East England Councils
Cllr David Hodge (Conservative) is Deputy Chairman of South East England Councils (SEEC) and Leader of Surrey County Council. SEEC brings together county, unitary and district councils as a democratic voice for the South East. David was elected to Surrey CC in 2005, becoming leader in 2011. He was previously a district councillor for 12 years. Nationally, David is Chairman of the County Council Network. His political interests include investing in the economy and infrastructure.
Outside politics, David is a dedicated Rotarian, raising £3m to help eradicate polio and leading teams to Sierra Leone building hospitals, schools and villages.
