Cllr Feryal Demirci has been a Labour Councillor in the London Borough of Hackney since 2006 and a member of Cabinet since 2010. 

In this role Cllr Demirci covers a wide range of issues including waste management, recycling, streetscene and highway infrastructure, parking, traffic management as well as overseeing Hackney’s much loved parks and green spaces. Cllr Demirci has overseen Hackney’s transition to London’s best cycling borough and is London Councils’ cycling champion.
