Dan Jones is Executive Director at the London Borough of Merton in southwest London, with responsibility for operational environmental and regulatory services as well as libraries, culture and sport. Previously Dan has worked as a Director at several London Boroughs and started his career as a sport and leisure officer, leading on increasing sport and physical activity levels and improving access to sporting facilities.

 

Dan is leading on Merton’s ambitious Borough of Sport programme and in his spare time is Chairman of his local community football club, cricket club junior organiser and still tries to play a number of sports!
