Daniella Dávila Aquije is Principal Project Officer in the Housing and Land Directorate at the GLA. She leads on the Mayor’s policy work on building safety, equalities in housing policymaking, leasehold and commonhold ownership models, and the provision of housing for Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities in London.

 

Daniella previously worked as Scrutiny Manager at the London Assembly, leading on environment and transport work. Prior to joining the GLA in 2019, she worked in policy evaluation of social policy programmes and interventions implemented in various countries, including Mexico, Kenya and South Africa. She has also worked in strategy and infrastructure policy in Canada.
