Darren has been part of the leadership team of L&Q’s Development Division since 2017. The division is responsible for the delivery of 30,000 new homes, one of the largest delivery targets in the sector. 

 

He is currently Director of Development and Regeneration with a portfolio of major development, joint venture and regeneration projects - such as Acton Gardens in Ealing, Beam Park in East London and the former Excalibur Estate in Lewisham. 

 

Darren has over 17 years of experience in urban development, investment and housing delivery through his previous roles working for East Thames, One Housing Group, CABE and in regeneration consultancy. 

 

As a former local authority councillor and chair of the Manor House Development Trust, Darren has a passion for how good design, regeneration and community engagement can enhance places and the quality of life of residents.
