Darryl Chen leads Hawkins\Brown’s urban design studio and has successfully delivered significant strategic and regeneration projects in the UK and overseas. In London he continues to steer local authority work on town centre regeneration, public space and industrial intensification.
Darryl heads the practice’s research studio and has produced widely published studies into planning issues. His current research focuses on integrating social infrastructure at a planning level. He has led design units at the Architectural Association and Bartlett schools of architecture.
