David is Head of the Borough Projects & Programmes within TfL. He is responsible for the support and funding TfL provides to the London boroughs to deliver transport improvements on their roads (the 33x London boroughs are responsible for 95% of London’s roads). Such initiatives range from small scale projects, such as the installation of new pedestrian crossings, through to major schemes, such as the creation of new public spaces. He has been with TfL for 13 years, having undertaken various roles, all of which have involved working with the London boroughs to deliver transport and public realm improvements. Prior to joining TfL he led the transport team at L.B.Hammersmith & Fulham, having also worked for the L.B.Wandsworth.
