Donald Schmitt Architects
Donald Schmitt is an architect and principal at Diamond Schmitt Architects in Toronto. He is a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and recipient of the Civic Medal of Toronto. His civic engagement includes serving on the Design Review Panel for the National Capital Commission, Waterfront Toronto and the University of Toronto. Currently, Mr. Schmitt is leading the design of Geffen Hall, home to the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Center in New York City. His work for the transformation of Canada’s National Arts Centre, Ottawa, Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver, and the Lazaridis School of Business at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, will all open in 2017.
