Polyvios is passionate about making transport more sustainable, efficient and accessible. He has 18 years’ experience in the sector, with a PhD in Intelligent Transport Systems and experience in both the private and public sectors. In the past, he has led policy work on emerging transport models, such as autonomous vehicles, and oversaw the development of strategies such as the 2030 London Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Strategy. In his current role as Strategy and Planning Manager, Polyvios oversees TfL’s strategy development on freight transport.
