Edward Clarke is an Associate Director at Arup and the Hotels and Leisure Leader for the London team. His hotel projects include some spectacular new build projects as well as the sensitive modernisation and sustainable improvement of historic and important buildings in London and around the world.
Ed was the Project Director for a bespoke Pavilion situated in a five-star Raffles hotel in central London. The Pavilion is used for fine dining and, sited in the centre of the historic courtyard of the Old War Office, it was designed to be a centre piece for this iconic new hotel.
He is also the Project Director for a net carbon zero Hotel and Villas project in Comino, a small island off of Malta. The project required high attention to the MEP proposals in achieving a highly sustainable building with a very constrained site. The project is on track to achieve LEED Platinum in recognition of its high sustainable credentials.
