Francis is an urban designer with a wide range of experience from architecture and planning to engagement and economic growth. He takes a people centred and inter-disciplinary approach to making places socially, economically and environmentally sustainable.

 

At Ealing Council, Francis leads the Industrious Ealing programme. His key focus is the collaborative delivery of industrial and affordable workspace, 20-minute neighbourhoods and public realm improvements that benefit local people.

 

Earlier this year Francis set up the Industrious London Officer Network to champion the vital role of London’s industrial workspaces in creating green, resilient and inclusive local economies to tackle the growing environmental, social and economic challenges London is facing.
