Garrett is a wind industry expert with more than 22 years' experience in structural dynamics, loads and aeroelasticity. He began his career at Boeing, analysing Space Shuttle loads for NASA missions, before moving into wind energy. There he led blade and turbine system loads and controls teams at Vestas and Envision Energy, and has patent publications in the US, UK, and Denmark. At ICF he led technical due diligence on over 3GW of wind and 7GW of solar and storage transactions.

At Hover, he leads engineering on the company's wind-powered microgrids.
