Gloria Volpato is an architect at Howells’ London studio, currently working on Chatelain House—a purpose-built student accommodation and affordable housing scheme—and Brent Cross Plot 11, a major residential development. Her interests lie in sustainable design and how architecture can engage meaningfully with built heritage. She has previously worked on a plot within the St Pancras Hospital redevelopment and on the Old River Lane masterplan. Gloria studied architecture at the IUAV University of Venice and later worked in both Italy and Spain on educational, cultural, and civic projects, with a strong focus on restoration and historic context.
