Greg co-founded Studio McW alongside David McGahon. The practice makes quietly unique buildings and spaces through an investigative, rigorous and craft-led approach. Studio McW’s work is informed by close collaboration with craftspeople and local makers, and characterised by the use of natural materials in modern applications. 

Greg is driven by a passion to tell a compelling design story, his work rooted in thoughtful responses to site context and client needs – always seeking to exploit the concealed potential in found conditions. Greg has led projects that have been recognised by RIBA and Dezeen, and he champions adaptive reuse and retrofitting of existing structures, aiming to avoid carbon-intensive demolition wherever possible. An interest heritage and sustainability led him to complete a hands-on course at LSA in 2024. He was recently shortlisted for a RIBA Rising Star Award.
