Gwyn Richards was appointed to the role of Planning and Development Director in April 2020.

Richards, who has worked for the City Corporation since 2007, originally as Assistant Director for Design, leads a multi-expert team of planning officer. Before working for the City Corporation, Richards was an area design and conservation officer at Westminster City Council and held the same role at Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
