Hew joined RICS Scotland in June 2012 as Policy Manager (Scotland). Having graduated with an Honours degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Aberdeen, Hew has held various policy posts in the UK and Scottish Governments, as well as other membership organisations.

Hew leads on RICS’ policy development and public affairs across all priority issues in Scotland. In addition to contributing to UK and Scottish projects, Hew actively promotes RICS’ thought leadership to Government and Parliament, and works in partnership with members, professional colleagues and stakeholders to take forward RICS’ working agenda on the land, property and construction sectors.
