James is the Development Director of Westminster City Council, joining 5 years ago intent on building a team with a passion and determination to deliver innovative urban development and regeneration projects. His responsibilities include delivery of the City Council’s house building programme and the running of its housing company; Westminster Builds.

Before joining Westminster, James spent his formative career as a chartered surveyor, working with private and public sector clients across a broad range of development sectors, and as a client specialising in mixed-use development delivery.

James is dedicated to enhancing and aligning the needs of stakeholders, resulting inviable and sustainable developments, class-leading homes and happy customers.

He enjoys family life, and the great outdoors.
