James is a Director at Heyne Tillett Steel who’s passionate about devising clever, creative solutions to complex engineering problems and the benefits they can bring to a project, as well as the positive impact that good design has on a community.
He’s currently working on a new-build life science and research park near Cambridge, and a mass timber office building in Maidenhead, while also overseeing various heritage projects.
Alongside leading his team at HTS, he regularly contributes to top industry events and writes thought leadership articles for the NLA, New London Quarterly, EG, Building, and the Architects’ Journal.
