James joined HTS following 5 years working for Meinhardt in Melbourne, Australia. During this time, he gained significant experience in the design and delivery on complex engineering projects on challenging sites, completing the extension of Melbourne Airports international terminal.

Joining HTS in 2011 James supplemented his knowledge working on several demanding office refurbishment projects in London (20 St James’s Street – Orms, 77 Shaftesbury Avenue – LDS). Through the delivery of these projects James has become passionate about the adaption and re-use of buildings, the benefits that can bring as well as enjoying the technical challenge. He is also passionate about the creative elements of engineering and the benefits it can have on a project.

James is currently leading the team for the adaption of a grade II listed night club in Camden, a new build office building in Shoreditch and the basement extension below a private house in Knightsbridge.
