Jelena Cousins is Founding Director at Cousins & Cousins Architects. She has a refined eye for design, proportion and aesthetics; influencing all creative decision making within the practice and developing the reputation for its award-winning architecture.
Born in Croatia, Jelena moved to London having started her studies at IUAV Venice, and went on to complete her education at the Bartlett school of architecture at UCL. Prior to Cousins & Cousins, Jelena ran her own practice focusing mainly on homes. Prior to this she worked for a number of high-profile companies including Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Hawkins Brown, across a range of sectors including being project architect for education and commercial workplace buildings.
Since co-founding Cousins & Cousins in 2012, Jelena has designed a number of award-winning projects, and has used her experience to provide a new perspective to the practice’s commercial and leisure work.
