John is Director of Urban Movement, a consultancy specialising in transport planning and the design of urban streets and spaces. He has 30 years’ professional experience, having been based in London for most of that time, including six years with a London Borough. He has been responsible for numerous urban realm schemes across London and in other UK cities. A design advisor to several local authorities, including Transport for London and Urban Design London, John jointly led the recent International Cycling Infrastructure Best Practice Study for TfL.
