John Mulryan
John Mulryan is Group Managing Director at Ballymore, overseeing the Group’s extensive UK and Ireland development operations.
 
Originally joining Ballymore in 2005 as Project Manager, Civil Engineering graduate John became Director of Group Operations before being appointed Managing Director in 2010. Since then he has successfully driven the UK arm of the business forward, creating thousands of much needed new homes across the Capital at London City Island, Wardian, Royal Wharf and Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms. John has also lead Ballymore in creating over 1 million square feet of office space since 2016 in London, Birmingham and Dublin with new headquarters being provided for major corporates and institutions including the Central Bank of Ireland, BT, Penguin Random House and the National Treasury Management Agency. 
 
John has been instrumental in establishing Ballymore as a dedicated placemaker and under his direction in London, the company is bringing culture to its communities, including constructing new headquarters for English National Ballet and The London Film School on London City Island.  Ballymore also worked alongside the US government to move its embassy from Grosvenor Square to Embassy Gardens.
