Jonathan is Director of Structures at Canary Wharf Group and is a chartered engineer, a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers. He has over 29 years’ experience in the construction industry and is responsible for overseeing the design and construction of Canary Wharf Group’s projects. He has been able to put his exceptional skillset gained from previously working as both structural consultant and as the principal contractor to great effect with CWG as the developer. He leads and draws out the best practice in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, buildability, and safety and have successfully delivered complex multi-phased developments. 

He is passionate about sustainability and has been proactive in initiating and implementing innovative processes to help decarbonise construction and has been an advocate for open collaboration between consultants, contractors, material suppliers and other key stakeholders to take practical and proactive steps towards net zero carbon and circular economy.
