Julia is an experienced housing architect and has been Head of Housing Research at Levitt Bernstein since 2006.

She has particular expertise in housing policy and standards, and was seconded to the Department of Communities and Local Government in 2013-14 to advise on the government’s Housing Standards Review. She has authored and contributed to numerous publications, including the HAPPI Report 2010, and the NHF Housing Standards Handbook 2015, and continues to work with policy makers and organisations such as the HCA and NHF.
