Katie Parsons
Katie is an experienced built and heritage environment professional with expertise in historic environment policy, strategic planning, spatial regeneration, and development management.

As a full member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and a Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, she has advanced knowledge of legislation and procedure, policy development, and advising on the future management of the historic environment.

Katie is currently Team Leader of the London Development Advice Team after previously being seconded to Head of Planning and Heritage Reform Strategy at Historic England.

Prior to Historic England Katie worked in two London Local Authority planning and conservation departments, and has previously been a Visiting Lecturer at the UCL Institute for Sustainable Heritage as part of Historic England’s Academic Heritage Partnership programme.
