Ken Dytor started his career in the UK Crown Estates Commissioner 30 years ago, and worked as a developer in the FTSE 100 British Land and Urban Catalyst which included sector wide M&A investment for the Japanese Bank Nikko. He moved his journey to China over 10 years ago, and his work covered other regions including Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam and the Middle East.
Amongst many, Ken is currently Founder and Executive Chairman of Urban Catalyst: a mixed-use real estate developer with a strong history of delivering public-private projects focusing on sustainability in the UK. He is also development manager for Purfleet, acting for Purfleet Centre Regeneration Ltd (of which Ken is a major shareholder) in partnership with Thurrock Borough Council, for the redevelopment of the 140 acre + Thames riverside development.
Ken's passion about regeneration, led him chair the British Property Federation’s Development and Regeneration Committee and was Ministerial Adviser to the UK Minister for Defence on sustainability.
He is also Non Executive Board Member of Thames Estuary Growth Board, a Board Trustee of High House Production Park, Executive Chairman and major shareholder of Quartermaster Holdings; and Executive Chairman of miHome Global.
Ken’s companies have worked for over 10 years in the Far East with a focus on China and Vietnam which are introducing new approaches to regeneration, development and cross border investment and is bringing investors to London and the UK.
