Kirsty joined RM_A in 2017 as a Part II architectural assistant and progressed to Associate in 2025. She has experience across all project stages; working closely with clients to develop feasibility and planning schemes, right through to the technical and delivery stages. Alongside residential projects, Kirsty brings prior experience in the civic, sports, commercial and education sectors. 

 

Kirsty is passionate about producing well‑considered and deliverable architecture. Her experience across planning, design and technical delivery gives her a distinctive skill set. She understands how early decisions influence planning and technical delivery, helping bridge design development and construction while maintaining design intent. Alongside this she advocates for thoughtful, contextual design that responds to how people live, creating homes and places that are purposeful, enduring and carefully considered. 

Kirsty leads the ‘Design Quality and Compliance’ Working Group for the Planning Team. This focusses on promoting design quality and resident experience, developing practice standards and strengthening relationships between planning and technical teams.
