Professor Laurie Pickup is a social scientist with 50 years’ experience in the transport and mobility field, 45 years of which has been in a European context. His work over five decades has covered a wide portfolio of transport policy issues. Laurie has lived in Italy for the last 20 years, and is now a, recently, semi-retired, freelance consultant.
