Mandy is a highly skilled Conservation Architect, and Associate Director at MICA, who has 15 years experience reviewing historic buildings, adapting to policies and extending the life and heritage of buildings. She takes a forensic approach to her work with existing and Listed buildings, re-imagining them for new uses whilst revealing their heritage value, and is creative in the application of environmentally responsible solutions to conservation problems.
Experience includes adaptive reuse and conservation work to 20C Centre Point complex; adaptation of the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith; change-of-use for a deep-plan department store to create 21C flexible workspace in Oxford and the conservation of five Georgian terrace houses in London for Goodenough College.
