Mark’s vast experience stretches over 17 years in the design and construction industry. His engineering background is complimented with a passion for green and blue infrastructure which he has successfully woven into many of his projects. He has championed and led “active travel” schemes in London and nationally and highlights the educational and amenity value of sustainable drainage systems (SUDS) in creating diverse and living open spaces. He believes infrastructure and engineering systems can lead to interesting and engaging public realm spaces complimenting traditional placemaking architecture. 

 

He looks forward to engaging with the Expert Panel to promote the role public realm has in enhancing the comfort and quality of people’s lives.
