Marta is design directors in AKTII and a member of the UK’s Higher Education Design Quality Forum (HEDQF) – an independent association involving 12 universities throughout London. Marta is working on a diverse range of projects but has a particular interest in education projects and offers unmatched strategic insight into London’s education market. Marta’s experience covers the full education bandwidth from singular school developments to flagship university buildings and estates programmes.
Current projects include the redevelopment of Smithfields to house the Museum of London with Stanton Williams and Asif Khan and the new LSE Paul Marshal building with Grafton Architects. In addition, Marta has a special interest in responding to the climate emergency within the built environment and champions this within the office.
