Matthew Botelle

Matthew graduated and trained as a Civil Engineer prior to completing a full time MSc in Transport Management at Westminster University in 1997. His postgraduate experience was then primarily in international freight and logistics before joining the Nichols Group in 1999 where he worked on a wide range of high profile UK capital works projects in both consultancy and senior delivery positions, with particular emphasis of rail and metro.

In 2010 Matthew joined Parsons Corporation as the Programme Director for Dubai Metro, responsible for the bringing into service of the Green Line and commercial closure of the Red Line. He returned to the UK as a transport and infrastructure partner in CPC Project Services before taking up the role of Project Director for Old Oak Common for HS2 in 2015. Since joining HS2 Matthew has led the planning, procurement and initiation of enabling works for Old Oak Common, with current focus on site clearance and delivery of the RIBA 3 station design to support the commencement of main station works in 2019.
