Mellis Haward is a director of Archio, an architecture practice with a reputation for community-led housing. She works with community groups, local authorities and community land trusts in the shared endeavour to create affordable and beautiful homes for local people.

Mellis teaches at The Bartlett and advises Harrow, Hounslow and Tower Hamlets Councils on their Design Review Panels.
