Michela is the Director and lead of WSP’s Building Performance and Sustainability team in London, with over 12 years of experience in the UK construction industry. She is both a Chartered Engineer and Registered Architect in the UK, enabling her to approach complex sustainability strategies from a holistic perspective. Her expertise includes sustainability strategies, low-energy building design, daylight and carbon studies.

She believes that effective sustainability strategies can only be achieved through a strong team with multidisciplinary vision. Her leadership have fostered a robust team that has significantly advanced sustainable practices in the industry, establishing her as a pivotal figure in building performance and environmental stewardship.

In October 2026 she was shortlisted in the 40 under 40 Building magazine list.
