Naisha Polaine is a Senior Advisor in property to the Capital Investment Directorate. Her role networks across the UK identifying a pipeline of large-capital property opportunities suitable for international investment. This involves interfacing with private sector promoters, public sector bodies and across Whitehall Departments to ensure that the best of the UK offer is promoted overseas.
Previously Naisha was a Senior Executive at Homes England (then HCA) leading the Thames Gateway, Essex & Kent Region. Other senior roles include the Housing Corporation and Cambridge City Council.
Naisha is also a Non-Executive Director for Hill Group – an Award Wining housebuilding which has grown in the last 20 years to be a company of 600 employees and a turnover in excess of £500 million. In November 2019 Hill won five accolades at the coveted awards in the UK new homes industry WhatHouse? Awards. Previously Naisha was also a NED for Cambridge University on its North West Cambridge Board which is building 3000 new homes in Cambridge. She has also held previous Directorships at Countryside Maritime Ltd, Harlow Enterprise Zone, Rochester Riverside and a number of local delivery vehicles and regeneration companies including Renaissance Southend, Harlow Renaissance and First East amongst others. She graduated from SOAS, London University and holds a first class Masters degree from the London School of Economics.
