Nivene Powell has recently joined Kings Cross Partnership as the Head of KX Recruit – Social Hub Lead. She is managing the hub based at the Kings Cross Estate and will be driving new service offers for the Social Hub delivery.

 

Nivene has more than 25 years’ experience working on community engagement, policy development and providing social value through development. She has led on employment, skills and community engagement programmes across projects including a pre-employment training scheme for unemployed residents in a London borough. 

 

Prior to joining the Kings Cross Partnership, Nivene worked for EcoWorld London (developer) as Head of Communities, the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council as a Policy and Strategy Manager across key social policy areas and as Community Liaison Manager for Willmott Dixon. She has a BSc Hons in Caribbean Studies/Social Policy and is also an executive committee member for two housing organisations.
