Oana is a Healthcare Architect with over 20 years of extensive experience, having worked on a wide range of healthcare facilities and major projects across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Australia. She has particular expertise in developing strategies and Masterplans for large health campuses that integrate acute care, education and research, as well as designing paediatric hospitals. Notable projects include masterplans for Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’s Hospitals, and the Royal Free Hospital. Other key projects include the Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital, the new children's hospital in Dublin, and the Critical Services Building for Canberra Hospital.
Most recently, she led the healthcare design for two large New Hospital Programme schemes, in Leeds and Great Yarmouth, engaging closely with the NHP and the new guidance being developed centrally.
