Prachi is a Project Urban Designer at PDP London. She has experience in international projects of different scales and typologies in the UK, Middle-East, India and Azerbaijan.
She has always sought to embrace the belief that contemporary urban areas, neighbourhoods and buildings can be designed to encourage a human - nature relationship, thrive economically, make the best use of scarce land and diminishing resources, whilst also inspiring wonder and delight. Her interests lie largely in the transition of scales, from strategic masterplanning down to the physical manifestation of materiality that expresses urban form within the context of different cultures. Prachi studied architecture from Kolkata, India, where she was awarded the University’s Merit Scholarship. She pursued an Masters in Urban Design at the Joint Centre for Urban Design, Oxford Brookes University and was awarded the Urban Design Prize in recognition of her work.
