Since co-founding SimpsonHaugh in 1987, Rachel has played an integral role in building the practice’s reputation as leading urban and civic architects. She is a powerful critic, a strong sounding board at early project stages, and a passionate advocate of the rigorous interrogation essential to maintaining design quality. Rachel is a London Legacy Development Corporation Quality Review Panel member, AR/AJ Women in Architecture (WIA) campaign Partner representative, and a 2015 AJ WIA, Architect of the Year Award finalist.
