Riah is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Cundall with several years of experience in delivering sustainable building services design. As a consulting engineer, Riah produces feasibility studies on the incorporation of low-carbon techniques and provides technical advice on the implementation requirements. Riah conducts energy performance analyses of buildings, developing strategies to meet industry net zero targets, and quantifies the energy, carbon, and cost savings involved. As a chartered engineer, she brings her specialised knowledge to futureproof buildings, keeping sustainability at the core of her work.
 
Furthermore, Riah is an active member of Cundall’s NextGen committee, driven by her passion for empowering and promoting the next generation of engineers and helping them build valuable industry relationships. Her role as Cundall’s STEM outreach coordinator reflects her commitment to encouraging young people to pursue careers in the building services sector. Riah forms relationships with learning establishments to facilitate STEM activities and regularly volunteers at career fairs and provides mentoring to young people.
