Rick and his colleagues just published Guiding Principles focusing on equity, sustainability, resiliency and design for healthy living.
He previously worked at the American Institute of Architects where he helped create and animate the Center for Architecture on LaGuardia Place, mostly by copying the Building Centre and NLA. A graduate of Yale and Columbia, his thesis project, in a distant century, was on adding density and streetscape diversity to social housing. Rick was honored with the AIA's Kemper Award in 2014 and is a Fellow of the Urban Design Forum, the AIA, and the Royal Society of the Arts.
